what college major would include the research of new drugs or new ways in detroying cancer or viruses, even nanotechnology?

Ok i have a research project i am trying to complete for a few weeks time to do with the future uses of nanotechnology in medicine. I am trying to come up with a few unordinary ways nanotechnology could be used in medicine and so not just the usual carrying medicine, targeting cancer cells etc. If any one has a good understanding of nanotechnology could they please give me a few ideas of how it could be used in the future and i will do the rest of the research on it. Thanks
And it cannot be based on science that has not been invented yet (eg. Magic and Star Trek technology lol)
